While the prototype is being built, the Interviewer writes the Five-Act interview script.

🎙 INTERVIEWER: Write Your Script

Structure your 60-minute interviews like this:

ACT 1 — Welcome (5 min) “Thanks for coming. I’m testing a product, not you. Be honest — you can’t hurt my feelings.”

ACT 2 — Context Questions (10 min) Start broad, narrow to our domain. [Write 5-6 questions specific to our target customer]

ACT 3 — Introduce Prototype (2 min) “Would you be willing to look at something we’re working on? Some things might not work yet.”

ACT 4 — Tasks & Nudges (30 min) Open-ended task: [Write the main task] Follow-up nudges: “What do you think?” “What would you do next?”

ACT 5 — Debrief (10 min) “How does this compare to what you do now?” “How would you describe this to a friend?” “Three magic wishes to improve it?”

Post your draft script in #sprint-prototype for team review. ⏱ Script due: [Hour 48]
