The trial run is critical for catching problems before real customers see them.
Option A: Sync Trial Run (Preferred)
If a sync window is available, schedule a 30-minute call:
- Stitcher shares screen and walks through the full prototype
- Team follows along, checking against the storyboard
- Everyone notes issues in a shared doc or chat
- Interviewer confirms the script matches the prototype flow
Option B: Async Trial Run
If no sync window works:
- Stitcher records a screen-capture walkthrough of the entire prototype (narrating as they go)
- Posts the recording in
#sprint-prototype - Team watches the recording and posts feedback in a thread
- Feedback deadline: 4 hours after posting
🎬 TRIAL RUN — [Sync session at X / Recording posted]
As you review, check for:
- Does every storyboard frame appear in the prototype?
- Are names/dates/details consistent throughout?
- Is the text realistic and free of typos?
- Will this answer our sprint questions?
- Any dead ends that might confuse customers?
Interviewer: Does the prototype work for your script? Decider: Does this match what you expected?
